The Omega Men’s Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph Watch is built to join you in the deep blue depths. This self-winding chronograph timepiece features a column wheel mechanism and co-axial escapement movement with rhodium-plated finish movement for greater precision, stability, and durability of the movement, and a stainless steel case and bezel.

The watch’s black dial is offset by white Arabic numerals, and luminous white hands and markers, and the black bezel features silver engraved second markers and Arabic numerals. The sub-dials with white hands and markers sit at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, and a date calendar sits diagonally at the 4 o’clock. The watch also features a stainless steel band with a dual locking fold-over clasp, and a domed, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal coated on the inside with anti-reflective treatment. Designed to join you in some serious skin diving and other water sports, the Seamaster is water resistant to 2000 feet.

Make me happy every time I look at it. Beware – it’s not for everybody. This is a honking timepiece here. It’s wide in circumference, yes, but definitely not as “I have a wall clock on my wrist” as some of the Breitlings. However, this thing is thick and heavy. If you want to always know your watch is there, it’s for you. The arm you were it on is probably going to be more fit than the other though.

Also you can dive to 600M. I understand that is a lot. Definitely deeper than your bathtub or pool. So you’re covered. Also, have you ever looked at your watch and said -” damn- this thing has too much damned helium in it.” Most watches, where can you go from there? No where. You’re stuck. But this one? BAM. Helium release valve.

On a more serious note, very high quality you can see and feel, lots of attention to detail. I love the look of the back of this thing.

The PowerShot SX30 IS is equipped with a 35x Optical Zoom lens with a focal length of 4.3-150.5mm (35mm equivalent: 24-840mm) that allows you to shoot any scene from wide-angle to telephoto. The camera uses a VCM (Voice Coil Motor) for high-speed, quiet, energy-efficient lens movement with precise control. Focal length is conveniently indicated on the lens barrel.

The lens is optimized to fully exploit its zoom length and wide shooting angle in concert with the camera’s high 14.1 Megapixel resolution. UD glass effectively suppresses chromatic aberration, while enhanced negative refractive power ensures that distortion at the wide-angle is also corrected. Further aberration is controlled with the inclusion of a double-sided aspherical glass-molded lens and ultra-high refraction index lens.

To counter this problem, Canon created the Zoom Framing Assist function. By simply pressing and holding the convenient Zoom Framing Assist function button, the camera will automatically zoom out to a wider focal point, allowing you to look for your elusive subject. Once found, releasing the button will cause the camera to return to its original position and intelligently keep the subject in focus, so you don’t have to trouble yourself with any of the controls.
